Bishop Square is located in Bexley, Ohio, a community of 14,000 residents with more than 4,000 households. The city is known for its historic and close-knit neighborhoods, highly ranked public school system, and prestigious private schools. It is home to Capital University, the president of Ohio State University and the governor of Ohio. Incorporated in 1908, Bexley is a first-ring suburb of Columbus geographically located within a 2.5 square mile footprint bounded by Alum Creek to the west, Gould Road to the east, Delmar Drive to the north and Livingston Avenue to the south.
Bishop Square is situated on 2.244 acres of land which had been a private residence, 105 Meadow Park Avenue, until sold to the Catholic diocese of Columbus in 1946. Next door is St. Charles Preparatory School. Built in 1975 by Whit Dillon Realty, the community consists of five buildings with four units each that range in size from 1,800 to 2,300 square feet. The architecture is Mediterranean in style and features stucco and brick with wrought iron accents. More than 150 trees of various species grow in the beautifully landscaped grounds.
Our small community is a hidden oasis amid the modern life style. Bishop Square is perfectly located near shopping, medical facilities, highways, and downtown Columbus, but when you pass through our gated entrance, you enter a special, enjoyable enclave.
